If you want to race against yourself you you go to Session Settings on
the main menu. Here you can challenge yourself so you can beat yourself
(screen).

For the first 15 days it is possible to have no internet. Only you can't
race against other racers because these races are on the Internet.
After 15 days the trial period is over and you have to get a Serial

If you have a static exercise bike or a road bike on a turbo trainer, you can buy a Simultrainer packet. You get: two magnets (one for speed, fixed on the wheel and one for cadence, fixed on the pedal), two sensors and one connector to the computer. The packet is easy to instal.
